Any ideas? Whole structure of the universe?

I can't answer your question but I can make an observation. The investigation into this sort of thing seems to require both large scale cosmological observation and particle physics. This is because there are two extremes for our universe; what it is like now and what it was like near to time zero (the Big Bang). For very small times that means a tiny universe explained by particle physics and for the universe now it means gathering as much data over the whole region as we can. It is only by combining these two sets of information that we can get a full model.
