Do healing stones work for animals?

I purchased a handful of healing stones the other day. Each came with a little tag and I picked out 6 that I felt may help me out. I was looking over one, "Tumbled Ruby Zoisite" who's tag read "Dispel Laziness and idleness, Strengthens the heart, energy/adrenals & reproductive", and wondered if it could help my ferret. I got the stone because of the laziness bit, but I realized after wards the adrenal bit. Ferrets are very, very prone to a type of cancer of the adrenal gland. Aggression is an early sign of this and she has suddenly begun to display this more. Currently I have her on a melatonin supplement to see if it helps. I'm really wondering if there's a chance this new stone could maybe help as well. I'm new to healing stones. If it does work, how could I go about using it the most effectively? Would placing it atop her cage help? Would getting more stones also have a better effect? Are there any other stones that may help, especially ones for aggression(She's bullying my new female quite a bit) if this is just her personality and not cancer (fingers crossed! I'd rather have a grumpy fuzzy to a sick one)? I've even thought of attaching it to her harness somehow. I'd really appreciate any and all input. Thank you very much!
