I accidently deleted my 360 dashboard save file from the hard drive what will this do, and should i be worried?

So i went into my system settings,hard drive,memory,games and deleted everything in there.I was wondering how i can get back like pinball fx,most importantly my xbox 360 dashboard file.Would it work if i jsut copied my friends dashboard file and put it into my xbox?
