I cancel my Novasure Followup?

I had the novasure operation Janurary 29th for heavy bleeding. It worked. I feel great! I hadn't have a period for 2 months. My question is... I have a followup to see how I am doing this coming Monday in the afternoon. I was laid-off from work for awhile and I go back this Monday. Plus me and my husband just purchase a home and their is work that needs to be done. I don't have time to go to the doctors. So I cancel my appointment because I really do not feel like waiting for over an hour at the place. Which when I go there I do alot of the times. There are people that have an appointment after me that get waited on before me. So after working all day, I don't have the time. Is it wise of me to cancel the appointment and not make the followup? Because I do feel great after this operation.
